Our vision can be summed up in three phrases:
· Teaching the Saints - We are committed to providing bold and accurate Bible teaching to build up the Body of Christ and equip believers for the work of servicing (Eph. 4:12). In addition to our regular worship services we schedule a variety of other services, classes, and meetings designed to teach, train, and encourage believers.
· Reaching the World - We are committed to providing bold and accurate Bible teaching to reach and win those who are not believers. In addition to our regular worship services we schedule Children's Outreaches, Vacation Bible School, Prison Bible Studies, Prison Outreaches, Nursing Home Ministry, and a variety of other outreach activities. Our fervent hope and prayer is that each of these activities will glorify God and sow good seed (Matt. 5:16, Jam. 3:18).
· Preaching the Word - At the heart of our vision is our commitment to preaching God's Word. In the Amplified Bible ITim. 1:5 says, "Whereas the object and purpose of our instruction and charge is love which springs from a pure heart and a good (clear) conscience and sincere (unfeigned) faith." We are a teaching ministry with an unshakable belief that the teaching of the Bible to others is the sowing of good seed (Mark 4:14) which will produce the three things that I Cor. 13:13 tells us have lasting, eternal value: faith, hope, and love. The goal, or aim, of all of our teaching and activities is to produce and nurture sincere faith (Rom. 10:17), hope from a clear conscience (IJohn 3:21-22), and love from the heart (Rom. 5:5).
