Prayer
on the Word
Father,
I thank You for teaching me that if I abide in You, and Your words abide
in me, that when I ask according to Your Word, it will be done for me (John
15:7) Since the beginning, Your Word has been the same. The same Word You
used to create all things is still available to me today. (John 1:1-3) You
are not a aman that You should lie or change Your mind; what You say, You
will do; what You have spoken, You will made good. (Numbers 23:19) Your
good news is still Your power unto salvation to me as I believe. (Romans
1:16) Thank You for revealing Your righteousness from faith to faith to
me as I trust in Your Word. (Romans 1:17)
I do
believe that I've been born again of the incorruptible seed of Your Word
and that Your Word is guaranteed to grow in my life. (1 Peter 1:23) I will
endeavor to continue in the things that I have learned in the Bible for
they are able to make me wise unto salvation through faith, which is in
Christ Jesus. I realize that all scripture has been given by inspiration
from You and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness; that I may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all godd works. (2 Timothy 3:14-17)
I believe
that Your Word is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword,
able even to separate my soul from my spirit, and my thoughts from the intents
of my heart. (Hebrews 4:12) I trust that the Word which has gone out of
Your mouth into my heart shall not return to You void, but it shall accomplish
that which You please, and prosper in the thing whereto You have sent it
(Isaiah 55:11) I ask You to reveal to me by Your Spirit where I've allowed
myself to be deceived and where I've sown to the flesh. (James 1:22) I desire
to be a doer of Your Word by sowing to the Spirit and therefore reaping
eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8) I call upon You Lord, asking for Your help
and trusting in Your power to save. (Romans 10:13) In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
