Prayer
on Thankfulness
Father,
in Jesus' name it is my desire to be anxious for nothing; but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let my requests be made
known unto You. (Philippians 4:6) As I do, I expect Your peace, which passes
all understanding, to keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. (Philippians
4:7)
Father,
you have said You would never leave me, nor forsake me. So I boldly say,
"You are my helper; I will not fear what man shall do unto me."
(Hebrews 13:5-6) By You I offer the sacrifice of praise continually, that
is, the fruit of my lips giving thanks to Your name. (Hebrews 13:15) I make
a decision to respond, speaking with my mouth, thanks for all You are doing
in my life. I believe that You are and You are on the job, rewarding me
as I diligently seek You. I thank You because of Your righteous judgments.
(Psalm 119:62) I praise You Lord and give thanks to You for You are good
and Your mercy endures forever. (Psalm 106:1)
Father,
I ask You to give me seeing eyes to see Your goodness. As I recognize Your
work, I purpose to glorify You and give You all the thanks. (Romans 1:21)
I desire to recognize the magnitude of Your forgiveness toward me so I can
love You much. (Luke 7:47) Father, show me how very much You've already
done for me and given to me. (Mark 4:24-25) I desire to see, appreciate,
and give thanks to You for all that I have. Thank You for giving me the
ability to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 13:11-13)
Thank You for blessing my eyes to see and blessing my ears to hear. (Matthew
13:16) Thank You Father, in Jesus' name, Amen.
