Little Lights Christian Learning Center is a daycare and preschool program that has been birthed by the ministry of Light on the Hill Christian Fellowship. We are dedicated to providing excellent child care and educational services with a solid foundation fo biblical principles. Our staff is not only highly qualified in the areas of childcare and education, but is also composed of committed Christians who have a passion to teach, guide, and lead children "in the way they should go."
We are currently offering full and part time daycare, as well as a preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 years.
Full-Time Childcare: $170/week
This rate provides children with a safe and healthy place to grow between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Part-Time Childcare: $35/day
This rate provides children with the same nurturing, all-day care as our full-time rate, except instead of five days, children come two or three days a week on either Tuesdays and Thursdays ($70/week) or Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays ($105/week).
Preschool Program: $60/week
This rate provides children with an opportunity to explore and grow in a fun and educational environment between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
In addition to having their physical needs met,* all children enrolled at LLCLC will be involved in an educational program that provides opportunities for learning and growth in all developmental areas.
*Please note that nutritious snacks will be provided, but parents will be required to provide a lunch for their child.
Little Lights Christian Learning Center is located in the former Headstart facility on the corner of South and South Park Street in Willimantic, CT, one block throught the light at the top of the Frog Bridge. Our street address is 90 South Park Street.
We are currently in the final stages of obtaining an operating license from the State of Connecticut, and will be opening as soon as possible. While we don't yet have an official start date, we are estimating that we will be licensed and ready to welcome children early in 2006. WHY WE'RE DEVELOPING A CHRISTIAN CHILDCARE CENTER:
Children are precious in the sight of the Lord, and we have a vision to partner with parents in providing an environment where children are free to experience the love of God and to develop a relationship with Him through prayer and the thruth of His Word. We purpose to create a safe, healthy, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can grow strong - not only in mind and body, but also in spirit. By integrating faith with learning, and being committed to demonstrate and teach the love and character of Jesus Christ to the children we serve, we will be equipping children to reach their fullest potential and fulfill the purpose for which they were created - to shine as lights in the midst of a dark world. While we are a distinctly Christian center, all children, regardless of religious affiliation, denomination, or beliefs, are welcomed and invited to be a part of our program!
